Dalesview Partnership is a small business run by Pat Costigan and Dave Day. Pat has had a lifetime in the care sector and her knowledge, experience and personality make her the ideal lead for the caring aspects of the business. Dave is a Chartered Accountant who has spent many years in senior management.

They were introduced about fifteen years ago by Pat’s bank manager who thought she needed help with the business and administration side of the enterprise. They worked well together to get Pat’s first home up onto its feet. Afterwards they decided to go into Partnership and since then have gently developed the homes.

In their opinions the two major developments have been the purpose- built accommodation and the introduction of ‘Lifestyle’. The purpose built homes combine comfort for the resident with convenience for the carer to achieve an excellent quality of life for each person in their care. Lifestyle was needed when, a few years ago, facilities for day care became more difficult to access. Pat and Dave believe that Lifestyle may provide the clearest view of what the business is about. Providing these two parameters are maintained and improved upon, they feel that a real difference can be made in their particular care sector.
